You lead the preparation and execution of technology and product development projects for innovative, integrated motors for compressors, serving multiple product divisions within Compressor Technique. You are responsible for managing the creation and evaluation of technical designs together with designers and specialists, guiding the full process from prototype to serial production. Throughout this work, you deepen your understanding of the underlying technology and engineering aspects of electric motors and continue to grow in your role as an effective project leader. You keep management informed by clearly reporting on project progress.
Although your main focus lies on project leadership, an essential part of your role is contributing to the team's mission by leveraging cross-divisional synergies and making optimal use of existing technology, component knowledge and sourcing expertise. This includes defining and critically assessing prototype, product and project specifications; planning projects and managing budgets; preparing and conducting PTMs; and organizing all related activities such as conceptual development, prototype design, engineering calculations and laboratory testing. You ensure that designs are of high quality and cost-effective, maintain effective communication both internally and externally, and secure accurate reporting and documentation of test results. Throughout the process, you work to make the prototype or product attractive not only to internal stakeholders but also to end customers, and you engage proactively in technical and strategic discussions with all parties involved.
